Within our office, it is well possible -as we usually do regularly in (international) family cases- to make use of phone appointments, conference calls, or skype. Consultations and mediations via Zoom are also possible. Zoom is a digital meeting tool that can be downloaded on any phone, laptop or PC. For the meeting you will receive a link with a personal ID number. Then we can hold a meeting with an image in a (privacy) secured environment.
However, if this is necessary or more desirable, consultations in our office are also possible, so you are welcome as usual.
We will of course follow the announced measures, such as ensuring extra good hygiene, keeping a distance of 1.5 meters from each other and not shaking hands.
Since we have a small office with only three lawyers within which we will not all three be present at the same time, the risk of infection is relatively small.
Although the courts have closed down until 6 April regarding hearings in person due to the corona virus, litigation is still possible. Cases will be worked on behind the scenes as much as possible untill further notice about hearings (for more information, please see https://www.rechtspraak.nl/Organisatie-en-contact/Organisatie/Raad-voor-de-rechtspraak/Nieuws/Paginas/laatste-informatie-mbt-uitbraak-coronavirus.aspx). Of course, we will keep you informed as accurate as possible about your pending case.
If you have any questions, want to discuss something or if you want to introduce a new case, we are happy to assist you as usual. We wish everyone strength and wisdom in this unexpectedly difficult time.
